It’s been a couple of years since we’ve had a good look at our pricing and how we offer/bundle our services, so this new year that’s exactly what we’re doing. One of the key decisions has been whether to take the “pre-wedding photography” out of our standard service and make it a chargeable optional extra – which is now fairly common with wedding photographers – or whether to leave it in.
The way we see it, we don’t want to compromise. We don’t want to provide our couples with anything less than our full wedding photography experience – because that’s what makes us who we are. We don’t want the only occassions our couples see us to be when they book us and then on the morning of the wedding, because we believe building up a good relationship beforehand is crucial to delivering relaxed, natural and happy wedding photography. The pre-wedding shoot is a big part of that. It’s a chance for couples, most of whom are not used to being photographed and think they dislike it, to have a little practice, get rid of the angst before the wedding day and to get to know us better. After all, we’re going to be fairly involved in one of the biggest days of their lives!
So when you look at it that way the answer is fairly clear. So that’s why we’re in! And to celebrate, here are a few of our favourite pre-wedding photos from recent times. Enjoy!
