Sarah & Matt’s Goldsborough Hall Wedding Photography Highlights
25th October 2016
This has to be our favourite time of year for weddings in the UK (actually our favourite time of year full stop). The greenery of the Summer has turned into the most amazing palette of colours and once the morning mists have cleared the weather is usually unexpectedly good. This was exactly the recipe for Sarah & Matt’s beautiful wedding on Saturday, at the church in Appleton Wiske near Northallerton and subsequently at stunning Goldsborough Hall near Harrogate.
Sarah and the bridesmaids spent the morning in her family home in Appleton Wiske, the village she grew up in, and literally a stone’s throw from the village church, whilst Matt and the boys got ready in Harrogate. The village were out in force to see Sarah arrive, looking resplendent, at St Mary’s for what was a lovely service. After the service, and after navigating a tightly tied church gate and being pelted with confetti, Sarah & Matt headed South in style to their wedding reception at Goldsborough Hall.
The drinks reception at Goldsborough Hall took place in their brand new Orangery – a gorgeous light, bright and airy space – and whilst the guests enjoyed fizz and canapes, we headed out with Sarah and Matt into the fantastic colours of the Autumnal gardens for photos and a very pleasant sunny stroll. After some family photos and plenty of mingling it was time for a sumptuous wedding breakfast (thanks for ours!) and the opportunity to laugh off some calories with some great speeches.
The evening’s musical entertainment was provided by The Beat Collective who got the dance floor rocking in no time and signaled the start of a serious party to finish off a wonderful day. Thanks to Sarah and Matt for asking us to be part of it and we hope you enjoy a few of the photos from the day below.
