Vicky & Ben’s Rise Hall Wedding Photography Highlights
21st June 2016
It’s been almost 2 years since we were last at a Rise Hall wedding and we were really looking forward to going back for what we knew was going to be a beautiful occasion for a lovely couple – Vicky and Ben. The interior of this fabulous venue in the East Yorkshire countryside is as stunning as we remembered with the addition of a newly refurbished library – yet another Rise Hall photographic treat.
Morning preparations for the wedding for both the guys and the girls took place at Rise Hall, as the wedding service in Rise church was literally a 2 minute stroll down the driveway. In a building that size there is also no danger of bride and groom running into each other!
And so Vicky & Ben arrived at church, both looking resplendent, for what was a lovely, light-hearted and enjoyable wedding service – with just the odd watering eye (Ben….). We then all headed back to Rise Hall where Helen Davies and her team were waiting to greet the guests and kick off an immaculately run reception. We did a lightening tour of the interior with Vicky and Ben for photos (leaving the outside shots until later in the evening) before confetti and family photos on the steps of the Hall, leaving plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the champagne and canapes.
The wedding breakfast room was beautifully decorated (check out in particular the awesome wedding cake) and ready to witness some great food, very funny speeches and, later on, some serious dancing. We left the wedding party enjoying the long Summer evening, toasting marshmallows, playing croquet on the lawn and enjoying the music . It had been a fantastic day. Our thanks as ever to Vicky and Ben for having us as part of it. We wish them every happiness (and a spectacular honeymoon!). Enjoy the photos.
