Hannah and Mark’s Thorp Perrow Arboretum Wedding Photography Highlights
14th September 2015
Our first time at a Thorp Perrow Arboretum wedding near Bedale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and what a place! A magnificent private stately home surrounded by 100 acres of woodland, home to many species of rare and endangered trees, and a fantastic choice by Hannah & Mark as a location for their wedding reception.
Hannah & Mark both prepared for the big day in holiday cottages just outside Richmond – and it was an eventful morning. While the boys spent a good chunk of the morning roaming the streets of Richmond for somewhere to alter a pair of wedding trousers, one of the wedding cars due to take the bridal party to church broke down and the bridesmaids ended up jumping in Richard’s car to get to the church – fashionably late!
The marriage service took place at St. Joseph & St. Francis Xavier – a lovely, bright and airy church in the centre of Richmond, and as we headed over to Thorp Perrow for the Reception, the clouds and rain of the morning began to clear to let through some welcome sunshine! The drinks reception was held in the house at Thorpe Perrow and we made the most of the stunning interior for some couple shots before the wedding breakfast which was held in a marquee on the front lawn with top notch catering by CWC Events. There was just time after the speeches to jump in the car and race over to the Arboretum before the sun dipped below the horizon for some romantic evening photos.
Here are a few of the highlights of a wonderful Thorp Perrow Arboretum wedding. Enjoy!
