AJ & Chris’ Priory Cottages Wedding Photography Highlights
21st September 2015
Before we get onto AJ & Chris’ Priory Cottages wedding I have a confession to make. I’m not very good at writing blog posts. I find it hard to write something original each time. I want to say how wonderful the wedding was, how lovely the people were etc etc without sounding fake and without using the same cliches as I read everywhere else. I’m probably just over-sensitive to it as I must read at least 5 blog posts a day from different weddings and wedding suppliers. So maybe it’s time to stop with the “awesome”s and the “amazing”s and the “fabulous”s and just say it as it is. No meaningless frills.
AJ & Chris are a fun, kind, generous and thoughtful couple (and annoyingly good-looking!). We’d met some of the family before at one of Priory Cottages’ epic wedding fairs (maybe “epic” should be struck from the list as well) and they made us feel welcome and part of the wedding before it had even begun. So we were very much looking forward to 19th September.
The weather was glorious. AJ looked absolutely beautiful (Chris, in AJ’s own words, looked “fit”). The marriage service at Wetherby Methodist Church was thought-provoking and emotional – and packed to the rafters! Priory Cottages, where the wedding Reception was held, looked resplendent. The couple photos with AJ & Chris were SO much fun (their camper van came equipped with wellies, deckchairs and champagne and Priory Cottages comes equipped with fields and hay bales!). The speeches were lovely and AJ’s in particular had at least half the room in tears. The first dance was pulled off with aplomb and the ceilidh was wonderfully chaotic.
It was a magnificent day. It doesn’t get simpler than that really. I hope you all enjoy some of the highlights below. Love and congratulations to a very special couple from Caroline and I.
