Lauren and James’ Wonderful Wharfedale Grange Wedding
31st August 2015
It’s been back to the world of weddings with a bang after a few weeks of well-earned holiday, and our second big day of the week saw us in Harrogate with the new Mr & Mrs Browne – the gorgeous Lauren & James – for their Wharfedale Grange wedding. Lauren and the girls enjoyed their preparations in a rather splendid apartment at Rudding Gate while the boys were left to fend for themselves (and search You Tube for instructions on how to tie a full Windsor) at home. The wedding service was beautiful and took place at St Joseph’s on Skipton Road in Harrogate before Lauren, James and guests headed to Wharfedale Grange for their Reception.
It was our first time at a Wharfedale Grange wedding – a lovely hilltop farm overlooking the lower Wharfedale valley near Harewood House. The marquee stood amongst fields of corn and fruit (the farm also has a lovely “pick your own” business) and looked stunning – particularly later on during a particularly lovely golden hour at sunset. Lauren & James had laid on outdoor games, a fire-pit and a mobile pizza oven just in case anyone was still hungry after an impressive wedding breakfast!
It was such a great day – lovely people, fantastic setting, perfect weather. The speeches were hilarious and after some sunset pictures it was time for the night-time party to get underway with the help of the excellent Northern Vinyl.
Love and congratulations to Lauren & James. Thanks for having us along to capture your day for you – we loved it!
