It’s always a real pleasure to come back to Priory Cottages. It’s such a magical place for a wedding and there are fewer happier and more colourful sights than bride, groom and their family and friends relaxing in the Courtyard with canapes and drinks. On this Saturday in August, London, Lancashire and Yorkshire all met in this beautiful corner of Wetherby. Helen, a Yorkshire lass, and Bobby, who hails from the other side of the Pennines, now live, work and play in London and the wedding was packed with family and friends from all over the country and beyond.
Both bride and groom preparations took place at Priory Cottages (expertly kept apart) before the wedding service at the nearby church in Wighill. The subsequent Reception at Priory Cottages was stunning. The champagne flowed, the canapes were made quick work of, and we grabbed some lovely couple portraits and candid moments. The food (which we sampled!) was epic and the speeches were, as expected, the business! The sunset across the wheat field was perfect for a few more bride and groom shots before the main dancefloor action got underway.
Just a SUPER wedding – enjoy!
