Well, we managed to pick the perfect day during half-term week to head out in Cambridgeshire for Amy & Luke’s engagement shoot. The sun was out, as were the snowdrops, and it felt decidedly Spring-like for what has otherwise been a sub-zero February. We decided to visit the beautiful Anglesey Abbey, close to where Amy and Luke live, and it wasn’t until we got there (and paid to get in) that we realised that a huge chunk of the park and been cordonned off due to soggy ground. On the bright side, a spot of lawlessness always adds to the magic of an engagement shoot so after a spot of hedge-hopping and generally suspicious behaviour, we got away from the crowds and found some beautiful spots along with some lovely Spring light and amazing colour.
Amy and Luke’s wedding is fast approaching, taking place this Easter Sunday at the fabulous Priory Cottages near Wetherby. A beautiful venue, a gorgeous couple and a day we are really looking forward to! Here are a few highlights from their Engagement shoot.
