And so the sunny, colourful, autumnal pre-wedding shoots continue. This time in the stunning Yorkshire Dales (specifically Askrigg in Wenslydale) with the lovely Gemma and Asa. They were recommended to us by fab hair stylist Becci at Hair by Becci who also lives in Askrigg, and they are to be married next Easter Saturday at one of our very favourite venues – magnificent Bolton Castle. It’s going to be a very lively affair from what we have seen and heard of Gemma & Asa’s family and friends and we’re really looking forward to it.

We’d had to postpone the original date for their pre-wedding shoot due not to just a little bit of rain, but an absolute deluge!! Had I managed to actually get there I’m not sure I’d have ever got back home. Good decision though as the re-arranged date was exactly the opposite. After tea and homemade chocolate biscuits – and a play with new puppy Freddie G – Gemma and Asa took me on a lovely walk around the hills of Askrigg, taking in the waterfall where Asa proposed. It was a hugely enjoyable few hours which flew by amongst chatter and photos. Check out the photo at the bottom of the post which Gemma and Asa took and sent me on that very wet day that the original shoot was postponed.

Here’s to the wedding in 4 months!

Thanks guys. Sorry I missed this (not!!) :-)
