Well we’re half way through our 2011 wedding photography give-away and we’ve clocked up some miles! You might remember from posts a few months ago that this year we have decided to have a number of winners – all winning a beautiful, romantic engagement shoot with us – and then to run a vote to determine the overall winners who will be the lucky recipients of our digital wedding package worth £1800 for their 2013 wedding.
So far we’ve spent half a day each with 5 fantastic couples, giving them some valuable experience in front of the camera (always useful for the wedding day) and some lovely photographs celebrating this time in their lives, and at the same time munching our way through cakes, ice-cream, fish & chips etc. At least we’ve been able to walk it off! We always choose shoot locations that have a special significance to the couple and we’ve travelled coast to coast. From Liverpool in the west to Robin Hood’s Bay in the east – and we’ve loved every minute of it.
Rachael & Neil at Bolton Abbey where they have spent many happy weekends walking as a couple since they met, Louise & Mark at Robin Hood’s Bay which holds plenty of memories from their childhood, Emma & Stuart at Easby Abbey just around the corner from Catterick Garrison where they live and a frequent destination for a stroll, Nikki & Robert at Fountains Abbey – just because!, and finally Rachel & Carl in Liverpool where they spent their student days and where Carl proposed to Rachel at the Albert Dock.
Below are a few collages of their engagement shoots. We have a few more to go before Christmas and we’ll be announcing our overall winner in the New Year.
