It was an excellent location choice by Siân and Chris for their engagement shoot. If you haven’t been to Yorkshire Sculpture Park then it is well worth a visit when you’re in the area – beautiful contemporary pieces of sculpture dotted around the copious grounds (and amongst plenty of very cute lambs at this time of year). A stunning place for a walk, and we enjoyed our Sunday morning stroll and photo shoot, and luckily despite the previous night’s downpours and an awful weather forecast, the sun showed it’s face and we weren’t forced to run for cover.
Siân is a teacher and has the unenviable task of managing a class of thirty 5 year-old children! Chris works in accountancy and is studying for his professional exams (very diligently we’re told!). They met 6 years ago through mutual friends and their first date was at a bar called “HaHa” in Leeds and if you look carefully at some of their photographs below, you’ll see them stood on the “Ha Ha Bridge” in the Sculpture Park. Chis popped the question, on another bridge, last October in The Lakes.
They are getting married at Waterton Park next August, which also has a famous bridge (there is a theme here), and we know it will be a wonderful occasion. Congratulations to you both and thanks for making the engagement shoot such fun.
