I don’t think any of us were expecting the wintry seen that started to appear the day before Nicola and Matt’s wedding. The snow didn’t just take the airports and trains by surprise! Luckily it turned out perfectly. The weather was bad enough to disrupt travel plans and on the morning of the wedding there was a fresh dusting of snow and a beautiful blue sky. The scene was all set. You’ll notice Nicola’s gorgeous dress is slightly on the sheer side and when she was outside (it was -2 degrees), in her words “it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything at all!”. That said she was very brave and you can see the evidence of a few snowy shots of bride and groom and very little sign of gritted, chattering teeth. Rudding has a delightful interior though that meant we could quickly move on to the library and the “Austin Powers” swing!

Nicola & Matt had a wonderful day that we were honoured to witness. If the speech shots look a little blurred it’s because Matt’s three (yes three) best men did a slideshow and speech that had me laughing so hard I really struggled to keep the camera still. You can see how much Matt enjoyed it though!

Hope you enjoy the highlights below.
